4B grammar:   AU CAFÉ: eating and drinking 

I.   Let's focus on the irregular verbs PRENDRE (to take/have) and BOIRE (to drink) ,
     found on p.160

II. Plus p. 161 ,  the PARTITIVE (part-of-it!!):

du       thé
de la   limonade
(de l')  eau
des     frites

(Remember, when making generalizations, positive or negative:
 J'aime LE thé ,  Je déteste LA limonade, J'adore LES frites!
Je n'aime pas LE thé)

But....I drink Je bois  DU thé, Je prends DES frites!

AND, not to be NEGATIVE, but when you are negative:

Je ne bois pas DE thé
Je ne prends pas DE café
Je ne mange pas DE frites
