Students took the 4B vocab. quiz + PRENDRE/BOIRE. We practiced -IR verbs. They filled out BATAILLE (battleship) sheets with -IR verbs. They worked with partners creating a dialogue at a café.

We reviewed making generalizations about food: j'aime, j'adore, je déteste  with  definite articles: LE,LA,LES.
Example: J'aime le chocolat chaud. Je déteste la limonade.

We practiced the PARTITIVE : Je voudrais, je bois, je prends , je mange with DU,DE LA,DES, UN,UNE.
Example : Je bois du thé. Je mange de la soupe.  and Je bois  une limonade.

Students did activities pp. 132-3.

We reviewed the verbs PRENDRE and BOIRE (both irregular). pp. 132-3. Students wrote out  #1 and essayez p. 132-3.Students played the dice game, conjugating these verbs. They had conversations describing what they liked to order at a café.

We studied quantity of food vocab (beaucoup de, un peu de, etc.) p. 124 and students took a survey on their eating/drinking routines. They did an activity, comparing pictures of people at cafes, identifying what food and drink each person had. They wrote out activities p. 125 # 1,2 . We listened to the winning song , La Même by Maître Gims,  of La Folie Musicale.

We practiced food and drink vocab. p. 124-5. Students identified their preferences (drinks and foods).
They played Pictionary with this vocab.

Students had conversations with seat partners. We talked about the fire at Notre Dame de Paris.
Students corrected mistakes from their 4A exams.
