Students identified classroom objects (from their Pictionary drawings.) The compared images of 2 different classrooms and identified the objects found there. They did a dictation using class vocab.

Students reviewed vocabulary pp. 16-17. They wrote out items in their backpacks (and their partner's backpack), #4 p. 18 (Dans mon sac à dos il y a un/une/des....) They pointed at items and identified them ,Qu'est-ce que c'est? C'est un/une/des...) #5 p. 18.
They made corrections from their exams, and saw the results of their lesson 1A exams.

We reviewed numbers 0-60. Students did math facts with flash cards, using these numbers. We studied the Power Points describing how numbers are spelled, and how to ask: How many ? (Combien de...) We played BINGO with numbers. They did activities p. 13, #4, asking and answering questions.

We studied definite and indefinite articles (the vs. a/an). They chose the correct forms (masculine, feminine, plural) p. 11 ESSAYEZ.  Students shared comments about the guest artist from Friday's performance (Hamid El Hadri). They viewed the first episode of the Roman Photo (textbook video).

We learned about NOUNS and their gender (people and things are MASCULINE or FEMININE) and there are 4 ways to say THE le (M), la (F), les (plural),

*** l' (drop the vowel, add an apostrophe, before a word that begins with a vowel...
le oignon...l'oignon, la orange....l'orange.

Students practiced and presented "les sketchs au café".

We listened to a Moroccan singer, Hamid El Hadri, sing ``C'est ma vie!` in French and Arabic.
Students played QUIZLET live with the vocab. p. 2-3. They took the quiz on this. They worked on their skits (les sketchs, au café).

Students took a dictation, using greetings and introductions. We practiced pronunciation and accents. We studied `la bise`, the French way of greeting and doing the air kisses.
