Today students had conversations using ALLER (to go) and -er verbs. We used ALLER with infinitives to speak in the future. Students wrote out #1,2 p. 118. We studied question formation (interrogatives) with est-ce que or inversion...
Exemples:

Quand est-ce que tu nages à la piscine? 
Quand nages-tu à la piscine?

We played Jeopardy. Students worked in groups, asking questions in French.

We reviewed the verb ALLER to go, and buildings and activities in the city (4A). Students drew buildings and places in a city p. 110-1. We played the Flyswatter game to review buildings.  Period 5 played the board game, writing sentences describing preferences about activities in the city.

We reviewed the verb ALLER to go, and buildings and activities in the city (4A). Students filled out the Alpha Brainstorming, with vocab. from 4A. We played Pictionnaire. Students did activities # 1,3 p. 111 and had conversations p. 112 #4.

We listened to French music (part of La Folie Musicale de Mars, Musical March madness!) Songs are on the blog (under la musique française)

We had a raffle, students won prizes (by identifying correctly the number on their raffle ticket!) Students reviewed prepositions of place, and described who was sitting near/far/next to them, etc.
